In an attempt to break the new world
record set by Charlie Brown and crew,
Scott Whipple and crew, in his Canidae Pet
Food sponsored Top Fuel dragster, set a
new track record here at Avenal with a
extremely fast 2.40 sec. Can't wait for our
next race, I have a feeling that record won't
stand for long.

D.L. King and Crew, in his Animal Control
A/Fuel dragster, ran a record setting 2.768
e.t. @ 115.00 mph, taking first place in the
finals over Jeff Mamer. This effort takes the
record from the previous holder Adam
Burnham who has held it sence March of
2002 with an e.t. of 2.80 @ 112.00 mph

Richard Montiel and crew in the Top Alcohol dragster (Top Dog) set a new
E.T. Record at our September event. They ran an unbelievable 2.496 sec.
destroying the previous record of 2.608 sec set in October 2000 by Tony
Kotasek at Barona Speedway

Drivers, Crew members, Spectators
In an attempt to improve communications between the pits, camp grounds and the spectator
area we have purchased an FM transmitter. We will be broadcasting our races live on
FM 92.7
Drivers and crew bring a radio, boom box or just tune your truck radio to FM 92.7 and get all
the race info you need, registration deadlines, staging information, etc... Spectators don't
miss a thing bring an FM radio head set, walkman or anything you can stick in your ear that
picks up FM, kick back and hear every word from our two fantastic announcers. This is going
to be a great addition to our race facility.
